I'm Manikuttan. My expertise lies in creating meaningful user experiences and transforming ideas into remarkable digital products.

I strongly believe in the principles of design thinking. I pursued my B-tech degree at Amaljyothi in Kerala. During the early stages of my career, I gained valuable experience working in a design studio where I had the opportunity to work on diverse projects and for a range of clients. Although my focus is primarily on design, I also possess coding skills, and I'm proud to say that I created my portfolio single-handedly. In my free time, I enjoy taking photos, playing cricket, and exploring new places and cuisines.

Working on Morrisons project:

Work closely with Business analysts, researchers, product managers and engineers to create engaging and cost-effective solutions with measurable and positive impacts on users.
Responsible for creating wireframes, interaction design concepts, Design systems, Navigable prototypes, process flows, Heuristics evaluation, specifications etc.
Producing robust and polished UI/UX covering all aspects with crucial responsibility for design standards for all devices, accessibility, and functionality.
Working within an agile environment using tools such as Confluence and Jira to organise all tasks/project initiatives.
Implementing best practices in usability, accessibility and interaction design; providing advice to the wider business teams.
Present and justify UX solutions and designs to business stakeholders and take appropriate feedback.
Conducting the design handoff with the development team and providing timely review and feedback on the developed versions.

Designit is a Wipro’s design agency; I manage a team here, examine requirements and design solutions. In addition, I execute user research and create wireframes, prototypes and visual designs. I have created and defined design systems and workflows that allowed a team of designers to work collaboratively and efficiently.

Lead - UX & UI Designer

May 2019 – September 2021

At RDA Labs, I primarily focus on product strategy and visual design. I've defined the UX strategy for American Addiction Centres. Closely worked with the onsite US team. I designed user experiences from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity pixel-perfect mockups. Also created rapid prototypes to validate design concepts with stakeholders and customers. Analysed the data from Power Bi, UserZoom to find solutions for complex problems and executed it brilliantly. Also worked with business consultants & data scientists, UX Consultants, other UI designers.
